Again, Dr. Pipes' scholarship is impressive. However, I do have a quibble:

How can the Christian Bible mention Jerusalem and Zion fewer times than the Jewish one? The Christian Bible not only includes the books of the Jewish Bible, but adds 27 more (the New Testament).
