On Jerusalem and The Muslims

I shall be brief and just say:What came first? The chicken,or the egg? If it is the first,then the whole premise is redundant. If Jerusalem was built by King David over 2.500 years before Islam, was even dreamed of,how on earth one can justify/say it belongs to the Muslims?

Point of order: The fact that the Quran was editorialized after his demize,how could Muhammed "fly on his donkey" (forgive the hilarity),and to heaven from THE JEWISH HOLY CITY ---Jerusalem? The only reason I can reiterate is: Blame the Islamist editors.
