Islamophobia is blessing in disguise

Reader comment on item: Islamophobia?

I am a 60 year old person with a graduate degree, born into islam. Although I was always confused by quran but I was not really familiar with all the violence, contradictions, scientific blunders etc in it. I was also in total darkness about Mohammed's extremely violent life, although I had been going to mosques, listening to sermons and reading books given by mosques. I was made to believe that Mohammed was a very lovable kind and non violent man who would not hurt a fly. That is also the belief of most muslims . They are totally ignorant of the truth.

It is because muslim religious heirarchy keeps it that way, to keep the gravy train running by keeping the mosque attendance high . All islamic scriptures are in difficult hard to understand classic arabic and were not translated until recently for obvious reasons.. Sahih hadiths were translated in entirety in 1980s by indians and and the only uncensored biography of Mohammed's life Tabari was were translated in 1990s by State Univ. of New york. The earliest biography of Mohammed by Ishaq , though a censured version, was translated in 1950s by Oxford University.

Dr. Ali Sina, the ex-muslim scholar (faithfreedom.org) believes that the best thing you can do for yourself as well as all human beings including muslims is to publicize what is in quran and hadiths, which had been tightly concealed by the islamic leaders for selfish reasons. When confronted, they outright lie or try to cofuse by using out of context and bad translation excuses.

Muslim heirarchy calls this exposure of real islam truth "islamophobia" to discredit it and prevent it from reaching muslim masses. Suport for this movement is more effective than fighting wars. We are indebted to the scholars like Dr. Pipes, Dr Ibn Warraq, Dr. Ali Sina, Robert Spencer , Dr. Bostom, Dr. Taslima Nasreen, Ayan Hirsi Ali and others who are risking their lives to expose the best kept secrets about islam..
