Islamophobia and Women

Reader comment on item: Islamophobia?

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Oct 26, 2005 at 02:47

So under the Islamophobia theory, those of us who question the state of women under the Qu'ran and the Sharia are .... Islamophobic. Those of use who question the genocide behind the various attacks on the Israelis proposed funded and supported by various imams, ayatollahs and shieks are .... Islamophobic. Those of us who wish to protect ourselves, our families and our countries against the terrorist murderous agression carrried out Hamas, Hezbolah, Al Aqsa, Al Qaeda etc are .... Islamophobic.

Perhaps the Islamic inventors of Islamophobia might consider that the real phobia exists within the Islamic belief system. Misogyny, racism and the need to turn all of ones personal power over to a religious totalitarian is itself a phobia .... a phobia of democracy, freedom, equality, peace, pluralism and inclusion.
