First of all, I couldn't find your stories but I am guessing that your stories are referring to the reality of Muslim countries. I agree with you however, you can't refer to what's happening nowadays in all Muslim countries to Islam. I was born and raised in a Muslim country like you and unfortunately none of these countries are following real Islam. What you see there is absolutely the opposite of what Islam is.

I don't agree with you in attacking Sheikh Hamza Yusuf (not Mr. Hamza) the way you did. If your are following his programs as you claimed, you would know that he lived for ten years in Muslim countries like most of Africa such as Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria and middle east just to learn about Islam and Qura'n. He even knows Arabic poetry like Kais and Laila and Al bosery if you heard about them. I am an Arabic woman and I am almost forgot about these poets. Ten years studying that and simply you say that he doesn't know all the facts about Islam and Qura'n?

Sheikh Hamza Yusuf visited one of the Muslim country and people there were treating him as a normal guy since no body believed that he is an American (which was expected because he is not blond or has blue eyes:). When he tells them that he is an American, they called him layer. So he has been treated like anybody else.

I 've attended the Reviving Islamic conference in Canada, Toronto and Shaikh Hamza Yusuf was one of the speakers. He was one of the amazing speakers that I even seen or heard. He loves Islam more than anything and his speeches were amazing and useful to all youth Muslim to a point that a female Christian was there and after hearing his speeches, she converted to Islam.

You said that Sheikh Hamza should go back to Muslim countries to educate people there instead of going to Europe. Do you know that last year Islamic conference; only 8,000 people attended the conference. This year 13,000 people attended it. You do the math!! . Muslim people who live here in the west need Sheikh Hamza Yusuf more than people who live in Muslim countries because they have other Sheikhs to teach them, but what about us who live in non-Muslim country with no one to educate us to the right way.

Finally, As Alia said, read before you ask any questions.
