Yes and yes again...Reader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity? Submitted by alia (United Kingdom), Dec 6, 2007 at 15:01 As a muslim, i would answer yes to that question, without hesitation. However, i have to say that i don't believe the question quite fits in with the rest. I would not call myself a 'moderate muslim' at least not as the term has been defined on this site and in the media generally - and i would have to say i would fail the test miserably. (Though i do have issue with some of the questions). I would however call my self a moderate person who happens to be a muslim (though God knows me better than myself) and i'd like to believe i would do better if you tested me on that. ( Which you kind of did with the question you just asked). You may argue that you can't follow Islam fully and be a moderate person - i would argue the opposite (Which i will have to do at a later date as duty calls).
