Daniel -- I have thought since 9/11 that the litmus-test should be every well intentioned Muslim and Arab being willing to say "Profile Me!" Instead, the reality has been hugely disappointing, with the most vocal representatives of those groups shouting "I'm being profiled!", whether true or not. And we end up with the bizarre and self-destructive fictions that we've all witnessed at airports: little old ladies and 4 year-olds being laboriously searched by over-worked security folks.
