Muhammad killed no one.

Reader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity?
in response to reader comment: Question: did Mohammed kill?

Submitted by Hajj Dawud Ahmad (United States), Jul 14, 2007 at 00:42

I am trying to understand Islam and get the true facts. Is there any record that Mohammed himself killed other human beings in the course of his conquests. The record is quite clear that he did not. In forty years of study I have not seen one report that he ever even struck anyone, or spoke to anyone in a harsh tone. At the battle of Uhud, he threw some dust at attacking forces who were too far away away from him for any of it to even be seen by them. That's the extent of his "attacks" on anyone.
