a muslim girl in a muslim countryReader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity? Submitted by maram (Saudi Arabia), Feb 26, 2006 at 08:39 i would like to start off by asking one Q. if the quraan in arabic has many meanings why does the meaning that shai5 hamza chose have to be the wrong one .I am a muslim girl in a muslim country . i believe in islam fully and i would like to apologize on behalf of every muslim who ever hurt or bothered a non muslim. i can assure u that islam is against that .I am sorry to say that islam may not be represented greatly by muslims themselves but i don't think you can judge islam based on that alone .I know many muslims who behave the way muslims should by being thoughtful, caring and polite.just the way islam told us to act . One must read what they are fighting against before commenting .and i really doubt that the man in the article did even though he may speak fluent arabic thats not enough. there are verses in the quraan that have stories behind them and that is why we have ahadeeth in our religion to ,so we can understand it fully.
