HI DNM,

You wanna be destroyer-of-Islam is still not able to tell me that what is the crime Vanunu committed that he ended up in Jail. If you can not tell me anything about his crimes then surely you should accept that Vanunu is serving his sentence without breaking any law.

As per as this particular Egyptian professor is concerend I do not know much about him but let me tell you this what I have heard that Amr Ibn Al-Ass actually went to Egypt and he protected the Copts from the tyranny of the Byzantine rule. Now people like you do not like to admit anything good about Early Islamic period so you just obviously forget it.

Actually that Egyptian professor represnts a part of Egyptian and Muslim past where Muslims in Egypt and elsewhere looked to Western ideas and history with a reverence. That period was the worst in the history of the Muslim intellectual elite in Egypt and elsewhere since in that period since they were dependant upon Western ideas to know their own history.

Fortunately now days people in the Muslim world as well as rest of the non-Western world has come to know the futileness in Western history and Western ideas so those people like that professor who still cling onto their faith in Western doctrines , needed to be challenged and tackled like the way he has been.

That is my answer to you regarding that professor.
