in response to reader comment: Daisy Khan watch and blame the victims

The Egyptian sheikh Abd el-Mu3ti Bayumi who works at el-Azhar's Islamic Research Academy in Cairo is very unhappy with Daisy Khan and her busband's plan to build a mosque/center ala 92 Street Y in NYC. He only heard that Daisy Khan wanted her center to be like a Jewish (astaghfirullah) cultural center in NYC. Now does he know anything about the 92 street Y? I doubt it very much but he knows that it has something to do with el-yahood (the Jews) and that was too much for him

Then he goes on and tell who ever is listening that he is against building of such mosque next to the site of the 9/11 atrocity (oh I smell Islamophobia here) and his reasons are: Such building could link the mosque with the 9/11 atrocity. Then he concludes that it must be an ingenious plot (khita hadhiqa) by and you guessed it and I'm not kidding the Jews!

So back to Daisy Khan: the ole skeikh is wondering if the folks at the 92 Street Y are the ones that convinced the trusting Muslims to build such mosque at such location ...
