As long as you imply that some part of islam is or can become OK (apart from the people themselves of course, especially the next, non-muslim, generations), you are lying your heart out in the exact measure of your knowledge of the thing.

But you can get used to it and then do it kind of smartly. The "smartest" ones are using a deception well-known among political utopists: they are furiously fighting evil, even in their midst (remember how cruel hardcore communists were to themselves), so that you are led to admit that they want to do well.

And it is true to a great extent. But that is not good enough. Communism is supposed to have been defeated but one of his sons is sitting in the White House, even counseled by some maoist, openly so. You cannot win against a bad ideology by just fighting its extremists. You win only when practically no-one can hold it in one's heart.

Islamdom will be OK only when its tale will be no more believed than Odin and Thor's.
