Praying (haha) for a CAIRless world

Reader comment on item: CAIR's Inner Workings Exposed

Submitted by pdm (United States), Oct 19, 2009 at 12:59

I actually visited the local cair office in 2006. It was on the second floor of an office/market building and the elevator had some sort of security device on it so one couldn't just take it at random (patiently waiting for someone to walk out of it though seems to by pass the device). When I walked into the CAIR office (honestly - just looking around to see what these people peddle - at the beginning of my islum learning curve). The people there asked me if I was with the FBI! Imagine that - guilty conscience? They offered to put me in touch with a local imam so that I could learn more about islam.

The resulting email conversation didn't get very far when he realized I was not happy with islam (i was as polite as i could be given the fact that the club's bylaws declare that i should be killed).

Anyway, it was good for a laugh
