Surreal is the right word

Reader comment on item: That Surreal Gaza Reconstruction Conference

Submitted by pdm (United States), Mar 3, 2009 at 12:05

Does someone hold the US over a barrel? I cannot imagine intelligent people actually expending more effort on a 'peace process.' It is a joke, it will continue to be a joke. Why is it out (US) responsibility to create a peace deal. Everyone knows muslims will not make the necessary compromise(s) to ensure peace. Namely, allowing Israel to exist.

I guess the best we can hope for is that these people will get tired of living in misery and give up. At least we (US) should stop expending any money or time on this abortion.
