Reader comment on item: That Surreal Gaza Reconstruction Conference

Submitted by DaveP (United Kingdom), Mar 6, 2009 at 17:36

In the movie "Filed of Dreams", Kevin Kostner sets out to build a stadium, hoping that his dream will become a reality. The miracle happens, and everyone is happy. In the situation of re-building Gaza, the donors too are hoping that if they "build it", the dream, "peace in the Middle East" will come. They too are hoping for a miracle. Surreal is right.
