Gaza reconstructionReader comment on item: That Surreal Gaza Reconstruction Conference Submitted by Demsci (Netherlands), Mar 14, 2009 at 05:18 On the topic of giving reconstruction to Gaza. There are the hostile Islamic donors + Western donors, like the US government. I suggest that these Western donors reserve all their money to give Israel full compensation whenever out of Gaza damage is done to it. After compensation to Israel for damage done by Gazans, the rest of the money can go to reconstruction of Gaza. And if no damage is caused to Israel out fom Gaza, they get the full amount. I also submit that Gazans cannot have it both ways; they now complain much about the wanton destruction by the Israelis, so they cannot also claim that they cannot build a reasonably prosperous country, because it would not matter much what Israel destroyed, because there would be nothing worthwhile to keep anyway if that were true.
