easy solution but hard to implement

But they already have Allah and Mohammed and various imams and muftis. How many father figures do they need? Do they have too many perhaps?

Their religion says nothing about 'know thyself'

Because they think 'Allah' is external to them they may conclude it's all Allah's fault

Doesn't the logic go something like the Koran is perfect and cannot be improved and no change is allowed either in it or its interpretation. Changing that fundamental error would be a great start. That or giving them the freedom to choose whatever religion they like.

They cannot comprehend the idea of personal responsibility or social cooperation beyond the primitive emotional responses of tribalism. What can be expected from such a people?"

exactly what we see and more of the same or worse.
