This conference reminds me of the anti-Isreal conference of S. Africa in June 2001.

Mr Pipes:

If we in the west act fairly and justly with the Muslim countries (in our polices and media), then there won't be any holtility against us.
But if we are unjust then we will be witnessing these kinds of "donor conferences" all over the world again and again, just like the conference in S. Africa (in June 2001) attended by over 95 countries condemning Isreal and its policies.
And I see the tide turning against Isreal even in the US very soon.

I do not see US or Israeli actions as the cause of Muslim hostility. I see that, rather, as flowing from a religion and an ideology that are inherently aggressive. Therefore, acting "fairly and justly," while always a goal, will not solve this problem.
