SolutionReader comment on item: Arab-Israeli Fatalities Rank 49th Submitted by Adeimus (United States), Jun 15, 2008 at 01:53 Give them what they both want. Independence, Homeland, Identity, Security, and Economic Stability. One country called "Hallowed Land Is Mine" containing Palestinians and Israelis both in a Global Sanctioned Government with equal powers according to economic status. Rather than the rockets dictate the terms, how about jobs, homes, religious freedom, and mutual benefit dictate the terms. The mount was originally designed to hold two temples. After all, the balance must be maintained. Without the other, the existing will fail. A more practical approach, give every Palestinian One-million dollars to move to their country of choice. It is a bribe but it is better than their children dying with a bomb around their waist. You would be surprised how cooperative people will be with this option. I like the first scenario, whether they want to admit it or not, their DNA is entertwined literally. Palastinians and Israelis are siblings. Maybe they both should be taught a little brotherly love. If they were both subject to invasion or mutual destruction, and their survival depended on cooperation for survival, they will be become a most formidable force. Is that why Global politics continue to divide them so? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
