He must have been in his "cups" when he called you that, Shayna. All one has to do is read some of your replies to Daniel Pipes' articles to see you're a true-blue (red) Republican!

As for your reply to M.D. Anthony, I was heartened as always when I read someone correctly assess the Viet Nam War. Our soldier's hands were tied. Don't bomb the Temples. So the enemy shoots at our soldiers from them. Sound familiar? Don't bomb the Mosques. So the enemy shoots at our soldiers from them.

Dropping a "bunker buster" bomb on one or two Mosques - I think the "insurgents" would get the message.

When and what will it take for the U.S. to again employ full battle strategy and not social work in Iraq? That is, in my opinion, one of Israel's greatest strengths. Although Binyamin Netanyahu would be optimum right now, Israel has never employed "rehabilitation" strategy with regards to the Palestinians. Not the same way the U.S. has tried "democracizing" Iraq through holding their hands and wiping their noses.

What would Patton do?
