America's KosovoReader comment on item: Countries Threatened with Extinction Submitted by obilic (United States), Aug 24, 2007 at 21:43 Veronica: Excellent points. As Pat Buchanan has pointed out, it is only a matter of time before the Southwest becomes one large Kosovo. Separatists who want to form the nation of Atzlan (an Aztec term) have already started to deconstruct the history of the Alamo, which was, like the Battle of Kosovo, in 1389 an encounter were Americans and Tejanos, like Serbs, refused to surrender and the loss of that battle resonates through history as a unifying symbol of identity. What will happen when these separatists start to attack police stations in San Antonio? Will the Texas national guard react and go into certain neighborhoods somewhat too forcefully? Will Madeline Albright and Bill Clinton then try to convince NATO to bomb the U.S.? Just wait.
