Goodbye Iraq too?

Seems to me that Iraq is noticably absent from Daniel's list. It is unlikely to be taken over wholesale like these other countries, more likely torn apart and divided up. Recent events there would indicate that the process is already well under way, half a million american soldiers notwithstanding. In the non-ME area, some feel Canada is likely to break up soon, although once more it is unlikely to be absorbed piecemeal into the U.S. or England.

The proposition of breakup seems probable if one considers that a significant number of members of parialment belong to the Bloq Quebecois, which is explicitly dedicated to annulling Confederation, at least insofar as Quebec's role. But it seems less probable when one considers that the Bloc has been thus positioned for many years, and seem no closer (and perhaps much further) from this goal than they were when first formed. The breakup of Canada is a fanciful dream of some supremacist francophones who really don't have the support of even their own constituency.
