not a bomb

Reader comment on item: The Mystical Menace of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
in response to reader comment: a question for Daniel Pipes: What Iran Wants are defense itself or start a new war?

It is not a bomb that the US or anyone else is, or should be, worried about. It is radio-active materials that pose the danger. Just small bits dropped in a water supply, in wheat fields or orchards, a tiny packet left on a train. The list is endless.
It is highly unlikely that any nation would bother trying to build and defend a true nuclear bomb, but distributing radio-active materials is an extremely attractive alternative for terrorist activities.
