(perhaps psy-ops could go to Iran and discuss the need for Iranian scientists to develop their "mysticism" -- say, collect some powerful Islam plants -- it's just so much more fruitful than the mad pursuit of science...)

The best way to subvert the Iranians would be to remind them that science leads to atheism and breeds heresies. It's a dangerous kafir invention! It's a bidah. Did Muhammad tell the faithful to persue kafir science? No! Why? Because science is a monstrous heresy itself. It does not care about Allah, it refuses to acknowledge His supreme will ruling in the whole universe. Instead it is built around godless, abstract "laws of nature" and these are incompatible with Allah's free and unrestrained will. Allah is all-powerful and these so called 'laws' say He isn't! How can a true Muslim be a scientist at the same time?

The Islamic theory of everything is simple - Allah. The scientific theory of everything is "superstrings" or whatever except ALLAH!
Scientists in Iran are not to be trusted! They are all potential apostates! They seem to want to be wiser than the Prophet (pbuh)!
Down with Western science! Long live the Quran-based theory of everything!
