Reader comment on item: Away with Crusaders, Crucifixes, Crosses, and Christmas

Submitted by appledumplinhearne (United States), Dec 11, 2005 at 21:47

Do away with the word christmas? Its a christian holiday stemming from the word CHRIST! Are you kidding me? Are christians upset that non- believers are allowed to publically celebrate the birth of Jesus all the while saying that he doesnt exist? Do you hear of christians boycotting places where a christmas tree is placed with non-believers? COME ON!! Im sorry but if non-believers want to be allowed to celebrate a christian holiday without us nailing them to a cross, then i think all of this talk doing away with crucifixes, crosses and the word "christmas needs to stop right now.
