Our hearts are our symbol.

Reader comment on item: Away with Crusaders, Crucifixes, Crosses, and Christmas

Remember how the Nazi's insisted people wear symbols sewn to their clothing to identify their beliefs and origins? Maybe because that didn't work to rid the world of all who did not follow the party line, some people want to try something new and get rid of all symbols.

That won't work either. For example, Islam wants to take over the world and become the top religion over all other religions and if you refuse they label you as a infidel, then you become a dhimmi and all the symbols and people are made to appear less than Islam.

They think that works to let everyone know they are superior, but it must drive them crazy to know that what is in people's hearts and in their minds is the true symbol of what they believe. Even when people speak about what they believe, it is only what is in their hearts and minds where the truth is.

For myself, I know that there are many people in the world who are forced to speak what is not in their hearts to protect their families from evil that tries to force it's way into their lives. Forcing people to believe and threatening death if they decide to leave a belief, never works because G_d protects us from that force and he alone knows what is in our hearts, which is a fortress against evil.
