Reader comment on item: Away with Crusaders, Crucifixes, Crosses, and Christmas

Submitted by Daniel F. White (United States), Aug 10, 2009 at 21:19

I agree to the point that religious symbols, as well as clothing that singles you out to be of a certain religious bent, should be outlawed !!!! If however the symbol is in a private and not funded in anyway with taxpayers dollars, the private schools, organizations should be allowed to put up any symbol or wear clothing of their like !!! Once a person leaves a church, mosque, temple or whatever they must not be wearing anything that singles them out to be a member of any religion, sect, or cult.....Peace will only be reached through anonymity !!!!

But the flags of a nation are different in that they represent all walks of life, including religions, except of course the flags of muslim nations which represent one religion and one religion only, that of course is islam, where only symbols of that religion is tolerated !!

To carry a bible or wear a cross is strickly prohibited, unless you're looking to get arrested for insulting Muhammad and islam itself....
