More guide to the perplexed! Our dear Amin that isReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Nov 10, 2012 at 12:16 Our dear Amin who is debating not one but several languages that he cannot speak read or write So did you get why Christian Arabs translate Syriac Bishm (the Syriac sheen becomes Arabic seen) to Arabic B'ism? Because it is the correct Arabic something that your so called Allah does not even get However - as far I know . . . the word "Arab" is of Semitic origin - to mean 'passerby' or 'nomad'. It is a common Semitic root - with few meanings. How did i miss this little gem The word Arab عربي is really a metathesis of the word عبري which means he who crosses (the desert) Now guess does what the word عبري mean? What a disaster Abul Qasim's ancestors were عبريين Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
