Sinai is not a desertReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by Anis (United Kingdom), Apr 4, 2013 at 09:11 The true disaster is found in your unpleasant attitude which leaves no space up for true debate and discussion. Firstly, there are two "Tur" (mountain ranges) Sinai and Sinin which go parallel to each other. These are not found in that little patch of desert south of Palestine like the OT says but are actually the Jordan Valley itself. The writers of the OT made an error when they associated Sinai with a patch of desert. The tree on which the Lord manifested himself behind a flame was actually itself an olive tree which is described in the Quran as having a very blessed nature. The Lord manifests himself in holy places and the Quran says that deserts are not blessed. May God guide you away from your mischief.
