Dear Dr Pipes:

Islamists' hypocrisy and ignorance knows no bounds. Consider the letter dated Sept 20, 2011 of Debanjan Banerjee. Banerjee has cited five points supporting Islamist viewpoint and each of these five points is either ignorant or selfish or self-righteous. Let me rebut each of Banerjee's point:

1. Banerjee says that US intervention has brought nothing but death and destruction: (illustrates thanklessness) Banerjee shows his thanklessness when he forgets to mention anything about Bosnia.

2. Banerjee says that Americans believe in their superiority: (illustrates hypocrisy) This coming from an Islamist is pure hypocrisy. People who advertise "Islam is the best religion" day in and out should not worry when others show similar traints.

3. Banerjee says that Americans do not understand that history is a process of ebbs and flows: (illustrates inability to self-reflect) This from the people who still think that Spain is/should always be an Islamic land.

4.Banerjee says that Muslims should have a bigger say in American internal matters: (hypocrisy, desire to insult, and shamelessness) What about non-arabs living in Saudi Arabia.

5. Muslims should be able to preach to the American soldier: (shameless entitlement): How about preaching Christianity to Muslims.
