Hello Ankara

Reader comment on item: Goodbye Ankara

Submitted by Jay1 (United States), Sep 2, 2011 at 23:52

Dr Pipes article is called "Goodby Ankara". A little bit of Hello Ankara is also in order. It appears as though Hamas rockets, Hezbollah violent marauding and Syrian slaughter recieves a more gentle Ankara response than the unfortunate flotilla mishap that Israel has said (though not in formal apology) it regrets the loss of life. What sayest you Ankara? It appears as though American lives were lost or compromised during the Iraq war which as a Nato member you said no to at a fairly easy yes moment. What sayest you Ankara? Armenia is at a loss of unanswered words as to what happened to the 2 million missing Armenians that you promise you had no connection to. What sayest you again Ankara? This is not about the Turkish people. Not Hello Ankara, most likely not "Goodby Ankara." But....now youve expelled Israels ambassador seemingly over what exactly? The regretable loss of seven Turkish citizens on a multi ethnic inhabited, rather provocative flotilla ship? Seems siily to repeat again what sayest you Ankara? Just dropping you a line from America. Hello Ankara.
