Debanjan Banerjee's utopia

Reader comment on item: Goodbye Ankara
in response to reader comment: Turks are going to solve the Kurdish problem very soon

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Sep 9, 2011 at 00:12

Dear Dr Pipes:

Reader Debanjan Banerjee knows nothing about how Islamic politics works. He describes a situation where in the Kurd region bordering Turkey, Iran, and Iraq there is complete peace and people travel between region to region without passport. Mr Banerjee must be dreaming about Europe while writing about Islamic nations. It is more likely that in a few years Turkey will see fratricidal killings as in other brotherly states spanning from Islamabad to Rabat.
