Watch Turkey by its action not its word!

Reader comment on item: Goodbye Ankara

Submitted by BA (United States), Sep 3, 2011 at 23:15

Whether Turkey expelled the ambassador or not, it is not important at this time. It is better to give Turkey some maneuver so it can prove to its Muslim audiences that it is really working for their cause. Whatever that cause is! In the meantime, Turkey must be watched closely. We shall remember that Turkey is so sensitive to the genocide to the Armenians as well as to the havoc that it's causing to the Kurds. We have to keep the Kurds cause alive as long as it takes until they have their own country. We don't like Iran but we have to remember that Iran is the only power in that region which will stand against the Sunnis and sooner or latter we will have a good relationship with Iran.
