A Warning

Reader comment on item: Goodbye Ankara

Submitted by Clifford Ishii (United States), Sep 5, 2011 at 19:34

Turkey and the Muslim world seems to be itching for a war with Israel and seems to want to find any pretext that it can to start one. That of course would bring in Christianity on the side of Israel and ignite in turn, a religious war that would be very bad. The old saying watch out what you wish for because you may get more then you bargained for, is an advise I suggest the Muslim heed the warning before going there. They are not going to win against the Lord God of Israel. It ain't happening. Israel, whether the world likes it or not under the protection of Almighty God, who will smyth anyone who dares tries to wipe out the Jews or push them into the sea. I'm not saying this. It is written in the Bible, the very word of God. Heed it's warning before it's too late.

Daniel Pipes replies:

If Ankara truly wants war, I suspect the giant gas finds in the Mediterranean will provide the pretext.
