There it is...... Agreement

Reader comment on item: Back to the Shores of Tripoli?
in response to reader comment: Giving Audience Does Not Necessarily Give Credence

There isn't a single point in your post, Mr. Tovey, I would not undersign myself.

Albeit, there is a clear and distinctive difference between your debates and those of the likes of Dhimmi, as yours are discussions, whereas the others very quickly deteriorate into yelling contests, heated exchanges of offenses and blame. Oftentimes it comes across as trying to be controversial for controversy's sake.

It is the reasons, why I usually read your exchanges with at times hardened islamists with interest, waiting in anticipation as to how the other side will respond to always sound arguments. I also applaud the fact that more often than not even staunch Islamists have exercised constraint in terms of tonality, politeness and respect, when engaged in a debate with you.

I would dare to venture that people like you reach a much greater audience on both sides of the issues - after all, isn't that also important? - whereas I usually tune out from the nasty debates rather quickly.

In my book, content wins over noise every single time.
