You should catch up to current information. It's already been shown time and time again that Cat Stevens does not and did not support the fatwa against Rusdie. In fact most Muslims would not even follow such a fatwa because not only does it not follow precepts of Islam, the ayatollah who issued it was shiite and thus from a minority sect of Islam that the greater majority of Muslims do not follow and in some cases, reject as heretical.

This all would explain why Stevens was in the US after being denied entry - once actual info was looked at, as opposed to islamophobic rumor...
