Our dear Fazal whose ancestors the Hindus were brutalized by islam and Arabian imperialism

>Take the case of female circumcision as practiced in some African Muslim societies.

Oh here we go again. You will not find neither the male nor the female variety of genital mutilation mentioned in the Qur'an and you know what? The Muslim ulama have always been suspicious of anything to do with the Quranic layer called al-Isra'iliyyat or those stories and traditions (and in this case the male variety of genital mutialtion) "concerning Biblical figures who are mentioned in the Qur'an which sepplemented and contexualized the sparse Quranic narratives but which the ulama looked upon with great suspicion" (see Berkey) and this is why the Libyan judge Mustafa Kamal al-Mahdawi published a book in 1992 where he argued that the male variety of genital mutilation is "a jewish custom originating in ancient superstitions of the Israelites circumcision deserved no stand in Islam (gasp!)

How come you did not know that? But this is not all as the Saudi and fascist Ben Baz the Wahhabi mufti of Saudi Arabia issued and you guessed a fatwa in 1992 against the good judge! So much for islam and free thinking

>This is peculiar to them and Islam does not sanction it or asks this of us. It is a particular area and its local customs

Wrong again; We are told in the hadith or the so called al-makrouma hadith" where and I'm paraphrasing here " um habiba who was reputedly the circumciser of the female slaves. Upon encountering her Muhammad asked om habiba whether she contiued to practice her profession she said that she did but she would give it up if the prophet disapproves. Far from objecting he not only told her that it was allowed he also demonstrated the correct way to do the operation "come closer so i can teach you" he says in one version "if you cut do not over do it because it brings more radiance to the face and is more pleasant to the husband" (see Gollaher)

Do you know what this means?

1. It means that Muhammad allowed female genital mutilation

2. That FGM was performed in Mecca in Muhammad's time

3. Muhammad performed FGM! How disgusting

This is what your islamic sources are saying and if you do not like it then destory them and good riddance

Oh there is more: Elswhere in the hadith Muhammad is supposed to have recommended circumcision as a sunna (oh the dreadful Isra'iliyyat!) for men and makrouma for women! So would you subject your children to these barbaric acts? A yes or no answer would do

And you lecture us that going after Muhammad is like undressing your daughters and wives! So much for islamic hypocricy

Oh there is more even Sheikh al-Azhar in 1981 told Muslims in Egypt not to listen to the anti FGM campaign by Nawal el-Sa3dawi and that FGM is as islamic as apple or is it date pie!!

Oh there is more in 1997 the Egyptian judge Abdul Aziz Hamade ruled that the quesion of FMG he striked down the Egyptian government's regulation banning FMG and he insisted that it is part of Islam

Oh there is more and this time enter that ignorant woman Karen Armstrong in her horrible book "muhammad" where she decales on page 12 that only one school of islamic law allows such barbarity only one! Notice that this horrible woman does not identify such school

You see our dear Fazal if your Allah is such a perfect creator why do boys and girls have to be subjected to such barbarity in his name? any guesses?
