Dueling fatwas -Final Reply to kman.

Reader comment on item: Dueling Fatwas
in response to reader comment: So, "Fazal", still playing obtuse. I know you don't need proof for yourself, but hope to play to the audience ...

You have said your bit and I have said whatever I have to say to you. It seems there is no point of convergence. So let us end the matter here. What I say below is my reply to your last mail.

About education, I am a member of the Harvard School of Central Asian Studies. and became one reluctantly because of repeated mailing by Dr. John Schoberlin who was the head of the body initially.. I am a contributing editor and have my own page called Curmally's Corner in the Defence Journal published out of Karachi-Pakistan and have had the privilge of being on delegations to various OIC Chamber of commerce meetings. I know what I am talking about. and who I am.

You say minorities are persecuted in my country. yes we have cases but there are not as frequent as you make them out to be. One of our greatest Fighter pilot aces is Cecil Chaudhry, Cyril Almeida who started off as a Tv program host is today the Assistant Editor of Dawn the foremost English newspaper. Both are Christians. So cut the crap about Christians being persecuted and not allowed to live in peace or persecuted for fun. We don't do that because we aren't Americans. Praise God.

Read what the CAIR site has to say about the treatment of Muslims in the USA. The level of ignorance is so great, that pastor Terry Jones who wanted to burn the Quran e Karim.in Florida, would have burnt 20 plus mentions of Jesus (may peace be upon him) and over 120 references to the Prophet Moses (may peace be upon him) whereas our Prophet (may peace be upon him) is mentioned four times.Today you have made the site of the Twin Towers in New York "Hallowed Ground" You are against a Community center that contains a Mosque and two blocks away from your Hallowed ground because it was so close to your so called hallowed Ground.

What the subject was duelling fatwas and we wandered far away from it. If you can't stick to the subject, or dismiss out of hand whatever I say, I see no point in replying to you after this mail. It seems respect for other peoples beliefs is alien to you despite this right being enshrined in the Declaration of Human Rights. Your country will not follow these rights but expects the world to do so. You have a right to live as you choose as do we. We can't stomach insults on Islam. or our Prophet. It also seems you are ashamed of your name so you hide behind a pseudonym. And you have the gumption to tell me that I am obtuse?

Go in peace and God and may his peace be with you.
