Be afraid...be very afraid...Reader comment on item: That NIE Makes War against Iran More Likely Submitted by Kevin Morrow (United States), Jun 14, 2008 at 09:59 I've been reading articles on Shoher's website, and frankly, the man gives me the chills. While he claims to speak from scripture, he also in the introduction to his book "Samson Blinded" rejects all morality as messy and inefficient and dishonest. I engaged in a back and forth debate with him briefly online, and he essentially rejects all the traditional interpretations of the commandment to love your neighbor. Instead, he very narrowly interprets this to mean that you should only love your neighbor if he is a fellow Jew. All others can be safely treated otherwise, no harm, no foul. He claims to speak from "rationalism" and from Macciavellian realpolitik. I just find the guy a cynical, an overt warmonger and monstrously amoral. Of particular interest is his view that all Israeli Arabs and Palestinians in the territories be deported. On behalf of my many, beloved Palestinian friends, I am utterly outraged. His views are very dangerous and offensive, and hopefully only held by a small number of Israelis.
