I fear that,with the present constellation of powers and with the United States' deep involvement in Iraq, the only country that regards the Iranian nuclear bomb as sufficiently threatening to take military action is Israel.

I also fear that Israel does not possess sufficient airpower to sustain an air attack that would suffice to destroy all or most of Iran's nuclear sites. Nor can Israel mount a ground offensive at that distance. However, Israel may be left with no choice but to attack, and this can result in many Israeli casualties and vast destruction from an Iranian missile attack.
