Spot on analysisReader comment on item: That NIE Makes War against Iran More Likely Submitted by Michael Joyce (United States), Dec 13, 2007 at 10:36 As usual, Dr. Pipes cuts through the political fog and uses logical reasoning to arrive at an inconvenient truth. The obvious partisan nature of this latest "leaked" NIE has apparently backfired on the partisan authors. Or has it? If these folks (Fingar, van Diepen and Brill) did not anticipate this turn of events, then they have no business being in the business of intelligence analysis. If they did anticipate this, then they are hawks in dove's clothing.
