I thing Iran is keen to continue its program and have a nuclear weapon, but Iran is the only power that can stop Sunni Wahabism too.

Reader comment on item: That NIE Makes War against Iran More Likely

I do not think that the existing Iranian regime is going to stop all the possible efforts to have its own nuclear weapon. Its obvious from all Iranian declarations that they are well determined to do that.

Although I agree that the existing Iranian regime is a big threat to humanity, however I do not think having a war similar to Iraq is the solution. May be a regime change from inside or Iranina opposition outside Iran can be a more ideal solution. I do not know if even this option is possible or not.

But what I know is that Iran can be only power that can stop Sunni Wahabism, and can be a counter power to the increasing influence of Saudi Arabian wahabism in the region.

We should not forget that people from Saudi Arabia (Wahabis) who had launched 9/11 attacks against the United States and probably against all the civilized world.
