No nukes is good nukes

Reader comment on item: That NIE Makes War against Iran More Likely
in response to reader comment: Iran nukes are good for humanity

This week, we learned that our old friend/nemesis Russia has gone ahead and shipped Iran enriched uranium with the stipulation that the spent fuel rods be returned to Russia under the watchful eye of the IAEA. Talk about a cruel joke. This makes about as much sense as China sending AK-47's to drug smugglers in Texas, who insist that they only want to use them as noisemakers on holidays, and that China will collect the empty magazines under the watchful eye of the Mexican police Iran has one, and only one, intention in acquiring enriched uranium, and that is to make nukes.

Would Russia sent enriched uranium to Chechnya if they promised not to build bombs with them? The Axis of Evil is short a member, and it looks like the Evil Empire is eager to fill the void. Would President "I'm in a Jihad" use nukes to "wipe Israel off the map?" Are pigs offensive to Muslims?
