Buried by political correctness

Reader comment on item: Muslim Europe

Submitted by Etienne (Canada), Jun 9, 2008 at 19:54

i believe Political Correctness is the spade with which secular europe is slowly burying itself. When somebody is critical of christianity, nobody says anything in return. I see comics of Jesus all the time, yet I don't necessarily raise a finger.

Then A newspaper publishes a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed. WHOOSH. A large chunk of the muslim world rises up, starts throwing rocks at embassies and burnining churches. A dutch writer gets a little bit critical, and he is assasinated. In fact, if you say anything against muslims, you would be fined for inciting racism. Forget freedom of speech. In a few decades Europe will have lost its secular liberalism.

We must make a stand soon, or the time will come when Europe no longer is free.
