why are the europeans so shocked at the current situational proceedings?
this is not something which has not happened in the past.
what made the great empire of rome fall? or any empire for that matter.
most muslims see the reemergence of islam as the second coming of the religion after the last Islam golden age, its destruction due to decadence and folly of the community of the time.
when society adopts a nature abhorent to human normality, it just fails.

example
two tribes - one practices homosexuality, one encourages polygamy - give two centuries, guess who's going to come out on top.
