NY PostReader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne Submitted by Ali Khan (United States), Apr 24, 2003 at 16:34 I can't recall the last time I met an American soldier who has NOT envisioned nightmares all throughout his life of the ever-growing traumatic experiences incurred during war, yet deceitful writers keep embracing, exposing and emphasizing the obvious insignificant facts. Both Mr. Paige's article and the act committed by Mr. Akbar are equivalently heinous to all of mankind. I might be only a 20-year-old college student, who is for a rational peaceful resolution, but I will not stand alone as an American Muslim, I have too much to protect for a better future tomorrow for all religions to live amongst each other.I currently enjoy attending the most diverse university in America within New York (Baruch College) and if there is one thing I have learned there, it is the value of team work in a global network of people and constantly learning from them while reflecting thoughts that can only be generated through the diverse and culturally enriched minds of tomorrow. That is what I will encourage my own kids one day to achieve all throughout their lives. I will not sit all day and write about how to separate and hate others for their mischievous acts. Every religion has its appalling creatures and just because 20 people decided to take faith in to their own hands by destroying the WTC, which in fact enhanced at unaccountable multiples of media exposure towards this serene religion. In conclusion if we were to account for all misdeeds by religious categorization their will be no one left in this world to criticize the religion of Islam because the marginal difference would be so explicitly less than other beliefs and religions that we would have to create a legislation to prevent the expansion of other religions. ...
