ignorance gone to seedReader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne Submitted by Stella (United States), Mar 26, 2003 at 09:20 Over the past 50 years or so, we have become so 'politically correct' that we've betrayed our own country. Heaven forbid that we should actually stand up for what is right and written in our constitution...no, no....let "we the people" sit back and let the elected officials make all of our decisions for us. Th general population says "We have no time for this....if we get too active, we'll miss Donahue." We have allowed this kind of garbage to happen...we the people have fallen asleep at the wheel. We have allowed Civillans who know NOTHING about military life to oversee and dictate what should happen in the military.... NO ONE can be 'Profiled" as a potential threat...oh no....it is NO WONDER THAT WE HAVE A TERRORIST IN OUR MIDST. What did we expect? We have allowed ourselves to be lulled to sleep, we have become ignorant of all that is right and proper and good...at least as far as our military is concerned, and now that ignorance has gone to seed. Our people have become fat and lazy, immoral, selfserving and stupid, and now, we reap what we allowed to be sown.
