I could not agree more with you. What are we waiting for? Another "September 11"? I grew up in an Arab and Muslim country and I am appalled at the naiveté of the people in charge of protecting us. I know that profiling is not "politically correct" but this is the ONLY solution if we want to avoid past mistakes and be effective in the fight against terrorism.
