Conscientious Objectors, other excuses?Reader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne Submitted by Shawn O'nealy (United States), Apr 2, 2003 at 22:56 The man murdered his fellow soldiers and attempted to kill others. I don't understand why he is still alive. This man is the worst of military criminals, he is not just guilty of some minor dereliction of duty, the man murdered and attempted to murder his own comrades while they slept.Who cares what his excuse are. He committed the worst kind of crime upon his fellow soldiers in a time of war. This man should have been put in front of a firing squad.
