Not exactly a religonReader comment on item: [Hasan Akbar and] Murder in the 101st Airborne Submitted by Mark Garretson (United States), Mar 27, 2003 at 15:43 America,Western Civilization and the rest of the world will continue to be victimized by Islamists until we realize that Militant Islam is not really a religion the way that Christianity or Judaism or Buddhism are. Those and others can all be summed up in the Golden Rule: Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. Militant Islam on the other hand is more of an empire building movement, not unlike America's own Manifest Destiny. To the adherents of both philosophies, the ends always justify the means.... It should be apparent to all by now that the difference between militant Muslims and moderate Muslims is that the militants are the ones who are trying to kill us, while the moderates are the ones who merely stand by and watch.
